Limestone Doorway
My responsibility in this treatment was the design and fabrication of HDPE fill panels that attached with magnets. I started with drawings of the missing hieroglyphs drawn out by one of the Egyptologists at the Penn Museum. I traced bitmaps to create vector files of the drawings, cleaned them up, ported them into CNC software, and machined the panels. The panels were then cast into place using Apoxie to create a close fit at the edges, primed, and painted.
