Limestone Stele Fragment
This stele fragment was excavated in the 1920s, and had previous repair work done without a treatment report. The object was in 2 parts, with a join that had failed. The treatment entailed cleaning the failed join of traces of adhesive, reattaching the loose piece and casting an Apoxie support, cleaning the surface with an agar gel solution, and filling and inpainting the large front gap.
